Terms of use

These terms apply to the Globby iPhone app ("the app") and the website globby.cards ("the site"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Apple's standard licence

The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA wins on anything it covers. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.

2. Using Globby

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial entertainment and learning. Please do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or its content, interfere with its normal operation, or use it to break any law.

3. Our content

The stickers, characters, artwork, facts, text, sounds and software in the app and on the site belong to Globby or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Sharing screenshots of your own collection is welcome.

We work hard to make the facts accurate, and each one is checked against a source, but geography changes and mistakes happen. The app is a game, not a reference work. If you spot an error, tell us at devmobileuae@gmail.com.

4. Energy, in-game items and Globby Plus

Energy, second chances, stickers and other in-game items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred, except as the app itself allows. We may rebalance how they work to keep the game fair and fun.

If in-app purchases or the Globby Plus subscription are offered, they are sold by Apple through the App Store and Apple's terms apply to payment, renewal and refunds. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Your data

Your progress is stored on your device. If you delete the app or lose your device without a backup, your collection may be lost and we cannot restore it. How we handle data is described in our privacy policy.

6. Changes and availability

We may update, change or remove features and content, and we may stop offering the app. We will try to give notice of significant changes in the app's release notes. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app means you accept the update.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in the Standard EULA, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
